CAPITAL C explores a new breed of creators, geeks, and artists who cut out the middlemen to make their bold ideas a reality by reaching out to the crowd. With crowdfunding and crowdsourcing, now we all have tools in our hands that democratize innovation in a way we've never seen it before.

Funded by 586 people from 24 countries through a crowdfunding campaign on kickstarter, CAPITAL C is the first feature length documentary dedicated to crowdfunding.

Over the course of more than three years, the filmmaking duo Jørg M. Kundinger and Timon Birkhofer followed crowdfunding pioneers all over the United States. The film is centered on the inspiring endeavors of ZACH CRAIN, JACKSON ROBINSON, and BRIAN FARGO who cut out the middleman and change their lives forever, with the help of the crowd.

CAPITAL C is an intimate portrait of the hopes and dreams as well as the fears and pitfalls of independent creators in the wake of the digital age. The film also features excerpts of interviews with some of the world's brightest minds of the crowd revolution. Including: MOLLY CRABAPPLE (political artist), SETH GODIN (best selling author), SCOTT THOMAS (design director Obama campaign), ERIC VON HIPPEL (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), and DAVID WEINBERGER (Harvard University).

CAPITAL C played international film festivals in America, Europe, and Asia and is now available in select theaters and VOD.
